Volunteering Builds Stronger Communities
The Church & Society Committee of Normandale Hylands UMC invites you to the The Great Volunteer Harvest Table Fair Sunday, October 10, 10:30—Noon. It is an opportunity to learn about community agencies that help others in our community and make it a better place to live.
At this time, we ask you to wear masks to this event, as we care for one another and will observe COVID protocols recommended by our denomination and the Minnesota Health Department.
The following agencies will be present to answer questions and help you find a place to help others through food, furniture, friendship, shelter and more. Whether you can do data entry, welcome others, unpack vehicles, move items in the warehouse, help someone shop through an Ipad or deliver food, you have skills that will help these agencies serve others.
We invite you to drop by Oct 10 and learn more about the work of these organizations and find a way to volunteer.
