Normandale Hylands UMC had an active prayer ministry that benefits others.

A prayer card ministry meets every other month.  Members of this group send cards to shut-ins and others dealing with issues in life. 

Sweet Hour of Prayer (SHOP).  Each day a member of this prayer team spends time praying over the prayer requests dropped into the SHOP locked box located in the Gathering Space at Normandale Hylands UMC.  This is a confidential ministry; feel free to put your prayer requests in the box. 

Sunday morning prayer team.  After worship, one of the team members will be in the chapel to pray with anyone in need.  This is a confidential ministry.  We can also offer communion in the chapel every Sunday.

Prayer shawl ministry:  Prayer shawls are made by knitters in our congregation; they pray as they knit for the person in need.  Prayer shawls are given out as requested.
