Looking for a Good Book?
Extraordinary Grace by Gary Chapman and Chris Fabry gives wonderful examples from scripture of God’s grace. Through the stories of God’s people, the gift of grace is made easier to understand. This is a book from the UMW Reading program in the spiritual growth category. The book is available on the UMW Reading program shelves in the church library.
A New Way to Organize
The United Methodist Women (UMW) at NHUMC has decided to create an Executive Team composed of 8-10 UMW members. This team would meet three to four times a year to make financial decisions and address any administrative needs for the local UMW unit. If you are interested in serving on the Executive Team, please contact Paulette Malecek.
Purpose
The organized unit of the United Methodist Women (UMW) shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
