The Missions Team seeks to develop mutually enriching relationships with those affiliated with, but not limited to, the United Methodist denomination and/or members of our own congregation.

Church and Society is a team within our church that distributes a tithe of our annual budget to organizations within our community. Some organizations supported by this team include: VEAP Bridging Cornerstone

Please help meet the needs of children and youth in Cornerstone's shelter and transitional housing. Here are items needed for the spring and summer.
New art supplies (beading supplies, paints, etc.) Toys for babies and toddlers New Spring/Summer clothes for kids and teens (especially teen boys) New Shoes for all ages Underwear/socks/bras Swimsuits/Towels Sunscreen Gift cards are always much appreciated
POTS ‘N PANS FOR BRIDGING Bridging is in desperate need of pots and pans—all shapes and sizes—but with particular attention to mid-sized cookware. Think of what a family would need. The cookware does not need to be new—but must be in GOOD condition—no scratched non-stick coated cookware; no banged-up heirloom...no junk! We will be collecting the pots and pans in boxes around the church—just look for the signs! The need is pressing, so please consider a quick response! Church and Society committee members will be collecting the pots and pans and delivering them to Bridging.

PAPER GROCERY BAGS continue to be collected for the Neighborhood House food shelf. Please bring in your unneeded paper grocery bags or shopping bags to church. These bags give people in need of food a way to carry it home. Thank you! |
